To create a single modular concept that could answer every key deployment scenario by simplifying the installation experience for customers. By understanding the reality of customer’s experience with yesterday’s product (tools / time / issues / frustrations). By analyzing how to find efficiencies in fulfilment and operations set-up. By considering how to consolidate the product catalog and limit cost of manufacturing.
The part catalogue will allow the installer to customize sensor combinations from one to four, that work with other parts of the catalogue.
When setting up a camera would traditionally take up to an hour, the Vicon NEXT system can be installed in under five minutes.
A modular system of components allows a customer to tailor products to their need and to their environment.
The camera system is equipped with a powerful AI chip (on the edge), LED signaling system, sound cancelling microphone and powerful speakers. All of which can be programmed to customer needs.
The camera system was awarded an iF International Design Award for excellence in design.
