The newspaper is not only a portable format to communicate information, but also a statement about ones preferences and politics. When subscribers increasingly gravitate towards electronic media, this outward visibililty of the newspaper is diminished. We were asked to come up with solutions to this problem that had both a practical purpose and were also desirable from an aesthetic point of view.
